| Brief Introduce of Guidelines for Risk Analysis of Foodborne Antimicrobial Resistance |

| Abstract: |
| Antimicrobial resistance is a major global public health concern and a food safety issue, which can pose a greater human health risk as a result of potential treatment failure, loss of treatment options and increased likelihood and severity of disease. The Codex Alimentarius Commission developed the risk analysis guidelines to analysis of foodborne antimicrobial resistance risk issues in 2011. The scope of these guidelines is to provide science-based guidance on processes and methodology for risk analysis and its application to foodborne AMR related to non-human use of antimicrobial agents. The article briefly describes the guidelines, which will enlighten our country on the management of veterinary antimicrobial drugs and food safety. |
