| Oral administration is one of the easily accepted delivery routes for canine. Oral medications with high palatability can improve treatment compliance and ensure treatment effectiveness. The palatability of oral medications for canine is influenced by multiple factors such as the odor, taste, dosage form, physical properties (texture, hardness, shape, size, color, etc), and preparation process of the medications. Summarize the relevant factors affecting the palatability of oral medications for canine, providing a basis for exploring methods to improve palatability. |
